Graphics notes from launch week
Two posts from October 27 talk about specific GPUs. They are bug notes, not new minimum specs:
- v1.0.35 fixed calcite not appearing for hosts on a few AMD and Intel cards, and fixed a case where the day never started after passing out in the break room.
- v1.0.36 reverted a change that had broken AMD 9000 series cards. Rafoli wrote that an attempted fix the day before caused the problem and that this update put things back.
- v1.0.43 says calcite veins were still missing from the egg on some AMD and Intel cards, and adds a Vulkan launch option for cards that have trouble with DirectX 11.
If a card in that list is yours, read the patch notes before you treat the minimum GPU row as enough.
Next to the specs
Controller support, cloud saves, and the player count are store categories, not hardware rows. They are summarized in the FAQ. The purchase price that sat next to these specs on October 28 is on the price guide. Storage is 3 GB on every row above; still leave room for the system and for any later download Steam adds.
