CRACK game patch notes: launch hotfixes through 1.1.0
CRACK updates through October 29, 2026: 1.0.53 Work Order fixes and public lobbies, plus 1.1.0 inventory, scaffolding, and payout changes.
Launch-week updates
Launch-week updates run from 1.0.31 through 1.1.0, released October 26–29, 2026. For stalled progression, start with the 1.0.53 Work Order fixes and 1.1.0 payout changes below. Launch timing and the introductory discount are on launch week.
v1.0.31
Posted October 26, 2026. Release Hotfix #1:
- Steam timeout increased from 10 seconds to 30 seconds.
- Invert Y-axis toggle added to the controls menu.
- An item printed as REDACTED was made unshreddable to prevent softlocks. See modes and controls.
- Leaderboard entries that use Cyrillic characters show up again.
v1.0.35
Posted October 27, 2026. Release Hotfix #2:
- Golf carts can be upgraded from anywhere, not only when parked in the bay.
- Snake turns respond properly in multiplayer, and top speed is lower to make its achievement easier.
- “Reduce Camera Motion” added in the general menu.
- Calcite appears again for hosts on a few specific AMD and Intel graphics cards.
- The day starts again after you pass out in the break room. The bug was that it never did.
- The pipe puzzle no longer completes without registering.
- Hosting and joining give up after 30 seconds instead of sitting on “Connecting…” when Steam is unreachable.
Session limits from this patch and from 1.0.31 are also on the co-op page.
v1.0.36
Posted October 27, 2026. AMD Radeon graphics fix. Version 1.0.36 reverts a change that broke AMD 9000 series cards. If your card is in that series, read this next to the system requirements.
v1.0.43
Posted October 27, 2026. Quality of Life:
- Offline Mode: solo play without a connection. In that mode the pause menu pauses.
- Chill Mode, with no bedtime, no sleep aid fee, easiest puzzles, shops that do not require a puzzle, bots that do not break, egg agitation at half speed, no penalty for failing a productivity audit, and no pipe bursts or scaffold breaking events.
- Vulkan launch option for cards that have trouble with DirectX 11.
- Default sleep aid fee lowered from $20 to $5.
- Dream bonuses are no longer lost if you close or reload before the end-of-day summary.
- Calcite veins that were missing from the egg on some AMD and Intel cards are fixed again.
For more on shifts and the day clock, see the core loop.
v1.0.53
Posted October 28, 2026. Public Servers, Item Pockets, and More:
- Public games can be browsed by ping. The pause menu’s Players menu lets hosts kick players or close the game to new arrivals, and includes per-player voice volume.
- A second-item pocket is added, with pocketed items retained through saves and quitting. Version 1.1.0 replaces this with four inventory slots.
- Robot and cart upgrade Work Orders complete when everything you own is already maxed out. See Workbots.
- The single slot-machine payout target drops from $100 to $50.
- The Calcite deposit target drops from $250 to $150, and Hatchite from $300 to $250.
- Parasite shredding targets drop from 2 to 1 for solo play and 4 to 3 for four players.
- Membrane, Tissue, and Prime Tissue sell for more, and Hammer reach increases.
- New Work Order hints, Workbot signs, and scaffold connection tips help with progression. The parts terminal stays locked until you buy a Toolbox.
- Swiping your card at a Golf Cart terminal returns the cart to its bay, even when an upgrade is unavailable.
- Sound effects cutting out after long sessions or in solo play are fixed, along with held items disappearing when a player leaves.
Use the walkthrough’s target table and Calcite guide when older guides show different amounts. Follow your active Work Order when playing another version or crew configuration.
v1.1.0
Posted October 29, 2026. We Hear You:
- Four inventory slots replace the single pocket. Select with 1–4 or the D-pad, or cycle with the scroll wheel or controller bumpers.
- Scaffolding has fewer building restrictions. Floors add stability, overhangs provide more support, and holding a Toolbox shows possible pole positions. Floors, ladders, and overhangs connect at full pole heights.
- Hammer aim assist and nearby-bolt hammering make scaffold assembly easier.
- Cart physics are reworked for steering, braking, and stability.
- Purchases no longer require puzzles; puzzles are used to calm the egg. The wave puzzle evaluates how closely the waves line up on screen.
- The payout Work Order accepts both slot machines and the prize wheel, with protection against getting stuck after repeated bad luck.
- Days are 50% longer, and Workbots no longer collide with players.
- Crash-related save corruption is fixed.
